  • One of the Best
Miracle experience ranks right at the top of our balloon trips. We really appreciate that they canceled our first one due to high winds for the next day. It was clear that our safety was a priority.

Frequently Asked Questions

First time travelling on a hot air balloon? Below you can find some answers to questions you might have.

What should I bring with me?

✔︎ Double check your pickup time at your location for the flight
✔︎ Warm, comfortable clothing
✔︎ Your camera, binoculars or camcorders
✔︎ Wear appropriate footwear and clothes which you don't mind getting a little dirty

Whats the landing like?

Ballooning is a unique adventure activity and you may land with the basket upright or it may tip over and/or drag along a bit before coming to rest. It's all normal and part of the fun. Balloons have always landed this way! Our baskets are specially designed for safety and comfort and our expert pilots will brief you before landing.

What If Im nervous with heights?

Lots of passengers have a few pre-flight nerves, especially those not too fond of heights. Once you're in the air, the 360 views are more like standing by an open window than flying. Ballooning is serene, peaceful and magical - nothing like other adrenaline-fuelled adventures.

Can family & friends watch my launch?

Of course! You can bring as many people as you like to the launch site so make sure they have their cameras ready. As balloons travel with the wind, for safety reasons we do not recommend family and friends trying to follow the balloon to watch the landing. This task should be left to our experienced crew and retrieval teams.

Is there any age, height or weight restrictions?

Children from 5 to 7 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. There is no maximum age restriction. Due to weight and space restrictions in the basket, anyone over 120 kg (265lb/19stone) will be required to pay a supplement.

How do I make a reservation?

You can use our link Book Now, call us on +255 788 300 005 or email us at to make your reservation. We highly recommend you to make your reservation with the Agent who handled your safari.

However, 75% fee is charged if cancellation is done 6 days to 48 hours prior to flight . 100% penalty is applied if cancellation is done 48 hours prior to the flight on your credit card. If the flight is cancelled, we will refund you fully or offer an alternative date for flight.

Are hot air balloon rides safe?

Balloons have the least number of accidents recorded compared to any other aircraft.

Our Modern hot air balloons have many safety features built into the system. The cables attaching the envelope to the basket are kevlar - one of the strongest materials known to man which does not conduct electricity in the rare event of a power line contact. Our balloons have two separate and equal burner and fuel systems. Redundancy. Important in any aviation operation. The entire system is fully inspected by a trained and qualified mechanic every 100 hours.

A balloon is an aircraft. ANY aircraft has an element of risk, but those risks are mitigated by the training and safety mindset of the person flying it.

We attend industry approved safety seminars annually to ensure that we are operating with the latest safety information and to review any accidents that have occurred and analyze what happened and how it could have been prevented. ALL of these elements are important and all go together to make our balloon operations as safe as possible.

The safety of our passengers and crew is our first priority. All of our decisions to fly or postpone a flight will be based primarily on weather conditions. See our
